BOLT LED Limited Warranty
BOLT LED hereby warrants to the original purchaser/owner (“Customer”) that BOLT LED products are free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the warranty periods defined in the terms and conditions from the original purchase date as established via Invoice or Sales Order. This warranty applies exclusively to new BOLT LED branded products listed below, purchased from BOLT LED or an authorized dealer within the United States of America, including its possessions and territories. This warranty is non-transferable and may not apply to products sold or forwarded outside the United States. BOLT LED shall only be obligated to honor this warranty upon receipt of full payment for the equipment. The purchase of a BOLT LED product constitutes the Customer’s acceptance of all warranty terms and conditions listed in this limited warranty statement.
Product Warranty Period Coverage
During the warranty period, BOLT LED will, at its sole discretion, repair the unit or replace it with a new or rebuilt model of equal classification, subject to product lifecycle improvements. BOLT LED will bear material and off-site labor costs for repairs performed by its authorized personnel, subject to exclusions. This warranty does not include on-site labor charges for removal or installation of components or on-site repairs. BOLT LED may, at its sole discretion, provide on-site warranty service under specific conditions. Any repaired or replaced unit will be covered by the balance of the original warranty period unless a written warranty extension is granted. This warranty is not a maintenance contract.
Exclusions: This warranty does NOT cover:
BOLT LED’s warranty obligation is limited solely to repairing or replacing the specific product or parts determined to have failed due to a covered cause within the warranty period. BOLT LED shall not be responsible for replacing, repairing, or extending the warranty for any products or portions of a system not determined to have failed under the warranty, even if used alongside repaired products. Variances in brightness, color, or other attributes after repair are not covered. No agent, employee, dealer, distributor, or representative of BOLT LED may bind the company to any terms beyond those specified in this warranty.
Warranty Limitations: All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the warranty duration. BOLT LED’s liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement. BOLT LED shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business profits, downtime costs, business interruption, or loss of information. BOLT LED is not responsible for shipping delays, parts shortages, Force Majeure events, or any occurrences beyond its control.
Claim Requirements: All warranty claims must be reported within the applicable warranty period. Claims submitted after the expiration date will not be honored, regardless of the occurrence date. Proof of purchase and batch/serial number from the Sales Order, Invoice, or approved Extended Warranty Registration (EWR) must be provided to receive warranty service. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denial of warranty service.
RMA Procedure: To obtain an RMA, contact BOLT LED Technical Support via support@boltled.net or visit boltled.net/support to submit a ticket.
Provide a detailed description of the problem to receive an RMA number. Products must be returned in original or suitable protective packaging. Include a brief description of the issue with the returned product. Products received damaged due to improper packaging or shipping may incur additional repair charges or void the warranty. Products without a valid RMA will be returned at the customer’s expense. Failure to follow these procedures may result in denial of warranty service or additional costs.
The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs and applicable insurance to BOLT LED’s service facility. BOLT LED is not obligated to replace products lost or damaged during shipping. Return shipping for repaired or replacement products will be covered by BOLT LED using a standard shipping method; expedited shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Any additional fees, duties, or taxes related to shipping are the customer’s responsibility.
Non-Warranty Service: If the product is found to fall outside warranty terms, the purchaser will be billed for labor, materials, and applicable shipping and insurance. If no issue is found, a minimum $125 bench service fee and appropriate shipping charges will apply. Payment for repairs or returns must be made in advance via credit card. BOLT LED will provide a cost estimate before proceeding with repairs.
